SnapChat for Diet Dr.Pepper
Snapchat filter social media campaign. Strategy: Diet Dr.Pepper is the diet soda choice for people who love sweet flavors. Using Snapchat and/or Instagram, we’ll design a filter that allows you to grow a big sweet tooth on photos/videos and then share with your friends. Soda bubbles swirl and spin around your tooth as it grows, highlighting a growing sweet tooth. As the tooth finishes its growth the bubbles will spin out of frame revealing a funny, enlarged sweet tooth. The younger demographic associated with soda loves to make and connect over fun content. It is always smarter to leverage a built-in massive community such as Snapchat or Instagram instead of trying to build your own.
In addition to people having fun and making light of themselves, this idea can go further. People love their pets and animals. The social media outlets are brimming with people showing them off. Dogs, cats, pigs, birds…etc and yes, even horses are all in play. But it doesn’t have to end end there. Dr. Pepper wanted an idea that can be pushed during Halloween as soda and candy are closely related. So we can add Dracula (too easy) and Frankenstein to this list. But why not Xmas as well, St. Nick, Rudolph and the Elves.

7UP Single Page Print Ad. Strategy: 7Up is the most crisp and refreshing choice for Lemon & Lime flavored soda. The Ad is printed on a very thin but stiff clear plastic sheet that wrinkles with little effort. When you touch or flip the plastic page, it makes a crinkling and popping sound that is reminiscent of the effervescent sound of carbonization in a crisp and refreshing soda.
